This is the tricky bit, though - you’ll need to get the boy’s attention over to the shop area to find his plane. The shop owner will pick it up and place it along with the others. Drop this toy nearby the shop stand with the other toys. To further harass the poor boy, you can take his blue plane that is placed on the bench. Goose can hide under the table and watch. The boy will stand here to buy back his blue plane. Move around inside the shop to get on T.V. shop owner to come out to help the boy, then run in to press the red switch. He’ll run inside, and use the phone to call the T.V. Then honk at him, leading him towards the red phone booth in the northwest corner. Place the glasses near the boy, and he’ll wear them. Be careful though, because the shop owner does not welcome goose in that area. You can find replacement glasses in the shop/stand area. You can trip him by pulling at his shoelaces, causing him to fall.
He’ll kneel down and re-plant it, allow you to snatch his hat. To get the groundskeeper to wear his sun hat, grab the single red flower but allow the groundskeeper to return it. The rake can be found in the far end of the garden, and you’ll need to drag that all the way to the lake. He will find all the items and begin putting them all back one-by-one. Make sure to give a wide berth to the groundskeeper, and don’t lead him back to your picnic blanket. The other picnic items can be found in here: the pumpkin, carrot, thermos, and jam. Or you can leave something by the sprinkler system, and then turn it on. If you head towards the lake, he’ll chase you, and you can get him wet in that manner.
The groundskeeper will then unlock the gate. To get into the garden area, you can turn on the sprinkler system. After stealing his hat, head directly into the bushes to escape the groundskeeper. You can swim with it into lake to shut it off, to prevent the groundskeeper from being alerted. The radio is located atop the fertilizer bags near the gate into the garden. The bench nearby has the basket, sandwich (both halves), and apple. You can find the red picnic blanket to the east, near the lake’s edge. This is where the garden is located - and where the groundskeeper works. The main direction you’ll want to focus on is in the northeast.

Kara purposedly fails the door prompt, to fight her way out through the backyard. Walkthrough will have Kara & Alice escaping Todd and fighting their way out. The other is meeting up with Alice again very late in the game, in Kara Leaving Detroit. One appearance will be in the Police Station, after having just filed a police report. If Todd is alive at the end of this chapter, he can make two separate appearances later in the game. It is possible to get to Alice and evade Todd through the window without ever having to encounter Todd. Kara can either get to Alice before or after Todd does.
